Why Music Matters
Music profoundly shapes the emotional impact of scenes in film, games, and storytelling.
We will examine before-and-after examples to observe how music changes the emotional tone of a scene.
What Will be Learned
The program begins by teaching what piano scales are.
Students will experiment by playing freely within a scale to discover musical ideas.
Accidental moments of beauty will be captured and refined into structured musical loops.
Students will learn how to record, edit, and modify their compositions (timing, pitch, deleting mistakes). With the goal of making a song.
Career Information In the Context Of Music Composition
Beyond composition, we will discuss career pathways in music and creative industries.
The difference between thinking inside the box existing job roles and outside the box (creating value where it doesn’t yet exist).
Aswell as the idea of giving value first to alter relationships and other connected ideas.
